Building Better Communities & Enhancing Neighborhood Vitality

Minority-owned & operated construction development firm committed to equal access to affordable housing, green space, revitalization, and economic empowerment for all.

CBBC's goal is to provide a standard of living that supports skills-based training, new career pathways, and an improved quality of life for underserved communities and low-to- moderate income families.

CBBC's mission is to build better communities by galvanizing community resources, residents, contractors, and developers. Our vision is to provide affordable home ownership and rental opportunities to low-to-moderate families and individuals throughout the Chicagoland area.

Overcoming Disparities

Our development partners are minority-owned firms, many from Chicago’s inner cities. We understand first-hand the issues and disparities faced by residents throughout the City of Chicago. Through education and job creation, we overcome persistent issues with social, economic, and health equalities. Communities that were once victimized by redlining, racial, and economic disinvestment, are now being revitalized through our efforts. We build better by empowering and uplifting our citizens!

CBBC is a grass-roots collective of visionaries driven by motivation and passion to create affordable housing for low-to-moderate income families, neighborhoods, and individuals throughout the Chicagoland area.

Our mission is to build better communities by galvanizing community resources, residents, contractors, and developers. Our vision is to provide affordable, thriving home ownership and rental opportunities to low-to-moderate families and individuals throughout the Chicagoland area, in conjunction with a walkable and living space with all the amenities and support they would need.

Heritage Pointe II

On Tuesday, September 14, 2022, our team completed our groundbreaking ceremony to build 8 single-family homes in the East Garfield and Near West Side area. Dignitaries in attendance: Alderwoman Emma Mitts, Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr., Community Investment Corporation (CIC), Brian O'Donnell of DPD, and Representatives from the Mayor’s office. Our goal is to revitalize this community area with improved living, walking, and green spaces. Our Heritage Pointe II project is one of many to drive economic power throughout under-supported areas in Chicago.
